Recipe 4 All: Beef & Tater Loaf Recipe

Beef & Tater Loaf

Yield: 8 Servings
2lb Ground beef
2cups Onion, chopped
cups Celery, chopped
2/3cups Green pepper, chopped
3tablespoon Lard
1tablespoon Chili powder
teaspoon Salt
¼teaspoon Pepper
1  Clove, garlic, minced
2can Tomato soup (21 oz), cond.
2cups Potatoes, mashed

cook onion, celery and green pepper in lard until tender. Add ground beef and cook until lightly browned. Pour off drippings. Add chili powder, salt, pepper, garlic and tomato soup and heat through. Pour into 2½ qt casserole or 7 10 ounce custard cups. Tube mashed potatoes on top. Bake at 425 F. 15 - 20 minutes or until potatoes are lightly browned.
