Honey Chocolate Cake

Yield: 1 servings
cups Sifted flour
1teaspoon Baking powder
1teaspoon Baking soda
½teaspoon Salt
½cups Shortening
½cups Sugar
¾cups Honey
1  Egg, separated
2oz Chocolate, melted
¼cups Water
½cups Sour milk
1teaspoon Vanilla

Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt together. Cream shortening with sugar and honey until fluffy. Add ½ cup dry ingredients and blend. Add beaten yolk and chocolate; beat thoroughly. Add dry ingredients and liquids alternately in small amounts, blending after each addition. Fold in stiffly beaten egg white. Bake in greased pan in moderate oven (350) for 40 to 50 minutes.
