Recipe 4 All: Shrimp Casserole Charleston Recipe

Shrimp Casserole Charleston

Yield: 8 Servings
½lb Mushrooms; sliced
2tablespoon Butter
1  Onion; minced
2  Tomatoes, chopped
½cups Half & Half
2tablespoon Flour
¼cups Sherry
1tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
3lb Shrimp; cooked and peeled
½cups Buttered bread crumbs
1  Salt and pepper to taste
½teaspoon Paprika or to taste

Saute mushroom in butter. Add onion and tomatoes and simmer for ten minutes. Blend Half & Half and flour and add along with sherry, Worcestershire, salt, pepper, and paprika, to taste. Add shrimp, cooked and peeled, and put in large buttered casserole. Top with crumbs and bake at 350~ until brown, about 20 minutes.
